Support

This is a free app and is distributed for use as is. I'd love to hear comments and suggestions to make it better. Please provide comments or requests through the Apple App Store.

What's with the name?

The name is a reference to the hex value 0xDEADBEEF, which is often used to fill memory or unused data fields with a 32-bit value that is non-zero, but obviously not real. Since the primary purpose of this app was as a tool to help decode memory and ethernet packet dumps, it seemed appropriate. As for the cow... well, my kids thought it was funny, so it stuck. He's winking because the '0' and 'x' characters are used to indicate a hexadecimal literal value in C and other C-based languages.
